Role Specifications
Candidates must meet the minimum requirements specified for each position. All applicants are required to attach a current Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of qualifications meeting the stated criteria.
Role 1: Project Manager
Location:Lusaka
Role Overview
The Project Manager shall be responsible for overall project coordination, implementation planning, reporting, risk management, and project handover. This role is critical to ensuring that client’s ICT infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
a) Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
b) At least five (5) years of proven experience in ICT infrastructure project implementation.
c) Demonstrated experience managing server, storage, data centre, cloud, virtualisation, or enterprise infrastructure projects.
d) Certification in project management such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent shall be an added advantage.
Role 2: Storage and Systems Engineer
Location:Lusaka
Role Overview
The Storage and Systems Engineer shall be responsible for the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise storage infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance across our client’s client environments.
Minimum Requirements
a) Degree or Diploma in ICT, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
b) At least three (3) years of experience in storage, SAN/NAS, RAID, data protection, replication, snapshots, backup integration, or enterprise server environments.
c) Certification from the proposed storage OEM or an equivalent professional certification.
d) Demonstrated experience configuring enterprise storage systems in production environments.
Role 3: Server/GPU Infrastructure Engineer
Location:Lusaka
Role Overview
The Server/GPU Infrastructure Engineer shall be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of server infrastructure including GPU-accelerated systems, high-performance computing environments, and AI/ML platforms supporting our client’s advanced technical service offerings.
Minimum Requirements
a) Degree or Diploma in ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
b) At least three (3) years of experience in server infrastructure, GPU servers, high-performance computing, AI/ML platforms, virtualisation, Linux, or data centre compute environments.
c) Certification or demonstrable training in the proposed server/GPU platform, Linux administration, virtualisation, NVIDIA/CUDA, AI/ML infrastructure, or equivalent.
d) Experience deploying GPU drivers, container runtimes, AI/ML libraries, or workload management tools shall be an added advantage.
Role 4: Network and Security Engineer
Location:Lusaka
Role Overview
The Network and Security Engineer shall be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade network infrastructure and security systems, ensuring robust connectivity, access control, and data centre integration for our clients deployments.
Minimum Requirements
a) Degree or Diploma in ICT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
b) At least three (3) years of experience in enterprise networking, routing, switching, VLANs, firewall integration, access control, and data centre connectivity.
c) Relevant professional certification (such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent).
d) Experience integrating storage and server infrastructure into production data centre networks.
Role 5: OEM-Certified Engineer
Role Overview
The OEM-Certified Engineer shall be responsible for the installation, configuration, commissioning, and support of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) hardware and software solutions deployed by our client. The incumbent shall serve as the primary technical authority for OEM product lines, ensuring deployments meet manufacturer specifications and warranty conditions.
Minimum Requirements
a) Degree or Diploma in ICT, Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
b) Valid OEM certification from a recognised manufacturer (such as Cisco, Dell, HPE, Huawei, Hikvision, Dahua, APC, or equivalent relevant to our client’s product portfolio).
c) At least three (3) years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and supporting OEM hardware or software solutions in commercial or industrial environments.
d) Strong technical documentation skills and ability to conduct end-user training and handover sessions.
