1. Job Title: LECTURER – TRANSPORT AND LOGISTIC (X4)

(a)    JOB PURPOSE

To undertake effective delivery of training in accordance with the curricula in order to impart knowledge and skills to the learners.

(b)    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Principal and shall be responsible for:

i) Undertaking effective delivery of learner’s assessment, research supervision, industrial attachments assessments and maintenance of performance records in order to determine effectiveness of the level of learning;

ii) Undertaking the development and review of appropriate syllabi in order to ensure efficient delivery of training;

iii) Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans in order to ensure effectiveness of training;

iv)  Undertaking effective research and consultancy in the Engineering field in order to contribute to the body of knowledge and promote best practice;

v) Ensuring that all Continuous Assessments (CAs) are submitted in good time to the Examinations Officer so that they are submitted to the appropriate Examination Bodies;

vi) Coordinating and undertaking regular monitoring and evaluation of training programmes on full, part-time and ODL progammes; and

vii) Undertaking any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time by the Principal (CEO), the Vice Principal or the Head of Section

(c) QUALIFICATIONS

The applicant must meet the following requirements:

i) Full Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits including English language or its equivalent;

ii) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognize University or its equivalent; and

iii) Teaching Methodology Certificate will be an added advantage.

d)  REQUIREMENTS

i) Two (2) years of relevant work experience;

ii) Ability to write technical and analytical reports and ability to communicate effectively in English;

2.Job Title: LECTURER – ACCOUNTANCY (3)

(a) JOB PURPOSE

To undertake effective delivery of training in accordance with the curricula in order to impart knowledge and skill to learners.

(b) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Principal and shall be responsible for:

i) Undertaking effective delivery of student’s assessment, research supervision, industrial attachments assessments and maintenance of performance records in order to determine effectiveness of the level of leaning;

ii) Undertaking the development and review of appropriate syllabi in order to ensure efficiency delivery of training.;

iii) Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans in order to ensure effectiveness of training;

iv) Undertaking effective research and consultancy in order to contribute to the body of knowledge and promote best practice;

v) Ensuring that all Continuous Assessments (CAs) are submitted in good time to the Examinations Officer so that they are submitted to the appropriate Examination Bodies;

vi) Coordinating and undertaking regular monitoring and evaluation of long term training programmes on full, part time and ODL programmes; and

vii) Undertaking any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time by the Principal (CEO), the Vice Principal or the Head of Section.

(c) QUALIFICTIONS

The applicant must possess the following qualifications:

i) Full Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits including Mathematics and English language;

ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent (ZICA Licentiate)

iii) Teaching Methodology Certificate will be an added advantage;

d) REQUIREMENTS

i) Two (2) years of experience;

ii) Ability to write technical and analytical reports and ability to communicate effectively in English; and

iii) Should be a member of the professional body

3. Job Title: LECTURER – PURCHASING AND SUPPLY (3)

(a) JOB PURPOSE

To undertake effective delivery of training in accordance with the curricula in order to impart knowledge and skills to learners.

(b) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Principal and shall be responsible for:

i) Undertaking learners’ assessment, research supervision, industrial attachments assessments and maintenance of performance records in order to determine effectiveness of the level of leaning;

ii) Undertaking the development and review of appropriate syllabi in order to ensure efficiency in delivery of training.;

iii) Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans in order to ensure effectiveness of training;

iv) Undertaking effective research and consultancy in the designing field in order to contribute to the body of knowledge and promote best practice;

v) Ensuring that all Continuous Assessments (CAs) are submitted in good time to the Examinations Officer so that they are submitted to the appropriate Examination Bodies;

vi) Coordinating and undertaking regular monitoring and evaluation of the training programmes on full, part-time; and

vii) Undertaking any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time by the Principal (CEO), the Vice Principal or the Head of Section.

(c) QUALIFICATIONS

The applicant must possess the following qualifications:

i) Full Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits including Mathematics and English language;

ii) Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply; and

iii) Teaching Methodology Certificate will be an added advantage.

d) REQUIREMENTS

i) Three (3) years of experience;

ii) Ability to write reports and ability to communicate effectively in English; and

iii) Accredited and registered with a professional body

4. Job. Title: LECTURER – AGRICULTURE SCIENCE (3)

(a) JOB PURPOSE

To undertake effective delivery of training in accordance with the curricula in order to impart knowledge and skills to learners.

(b) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Principal and shall be responsible for:

i) Undertaking effective delivery of learners’ assessment, research supervision, industrial attachments assessments and maintenance of performance records in order to determine effectiveness of the level of learning;

ii) Undertaking the development and review of appropriate syllabi in order to ensure efficiency delivery of training.;

iii) Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans in order to ensure effectiveness of training;

iv) Undertaking effective research and consultancy in the field in order to contribute to the body of knowledge and promote best practice;

ii) Ability to write reports and ability to communicate effectively in English.

iii) Accreditation with a professional body is required.

5. Job. Title: LECTURER – COMPUTER SCIENCE (3)

(a) JOB PURPOSE

To undertake effective delivery of training in accordance with the curricula in order to impart knowledge to learners.

(b) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Principal and shall be responsible for:

i) Undertaking effective delivery of learners’ assessment, research supervision, industrial attachments assessments and maintenance of performance records in order to determine effectiveness of the level of learning;

ii) Undertaking the development and review of appropriate syllabi in order to ensure efficiency in delivery of training;

iii) Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans in order to ensure effectiveness of training;

iv) Undertaking effective research and consultancy in the field in order to contribute to the body of knowledge and promote best practice;

v) Ensuring that all Continuous Assessments (CAs) are submitted in good time to the Examinations Officer so that they are submitted to the appropriate Examination Bodies;
