Sustainable Finance Coordinator Jobs in Kafue WWF Zambia invites applications for the role of Sustainable Finance Coordinator based in Kafue. This position is the technical and strategic lead on green and sustainable finance, acting as the focal point for the Landscape Finance Speedboat initiative. The coordinator will spearhead innovative financial mechanisms that redirect capital flows towards sustainable, nature-positive investments, working at the nexus of finance, conservation, and private sector collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of landscape finance solutions across WWF Zambia’s key landscapes. Develop and manage a pipeline of bankable, investment-ready projects aligned with conservation priorities. Structure innovative financial instruments such as blended finance platforms, credit guarantees, and sustainability-linked finance. Engage with financial institutions, investors, and private sector partners to mobilize capital for sustainable development. Manage financial mechanisms, monitor performance, and ensure integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) safeguards. Provide technical assistance to strengthen the financial readiness of SMEs, smallholder farmers, and value chain actors. Lead resource mobilization efforts and provide strategic advisory support to WWF Zambia leadership. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. At least five years of experience in sustainable finance, green finance, or development finance. Proven expertise in investment structuring, blended finance, and financial mechanism design. Strong skills in financial modelling, deal-making, and stakeholder engagement. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities. Familiarity with agriculture finance, climate finance, or nature-based investments is advantageous. Corporate Engagement Coordinator Role in Kafue WWF Zambia is also recruiting a Corporate Engagement Coordinator to support private sector partnerships that promote water stewardship, responsible business, nature-based solutions, and climate resilience. This role emphasizes community mobilization, inclusive stakeholder engagement, and effective delivery of conservation interventions across the Kafue landscape. Responsibilities of the Corporate Engagement Coordinator Mobilize and engage communities ensuring gender equity, youth participation, and local ownership. Strengthen collaboration with traditional leaders, NGOs, CSOs, and local authorities. Support corporate partner engagement through field visits, learning exchanges, and joint planning. Implement freshwater conservation, climate adaptation, and livelihood enhancement activities. Collect and manage field data to support monitoring, evaluation, and adaptive management. Ensure compliance with WWF safeguarding policies and donor requirements. Manage field-level budgets responsibly and promote ethical implementation. Required Qualifications and Competencies for Corporate Engagement Coordinator Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Wetlands Management, Social Anthropology, Natural Resources Management, or Biology; project management training is a plus. Minimum two years’ experience in community-based conservation or development work. Proven skills in community engagement, multi-stakeholder coordination, and working in rural or remote settings. Strong analytical, interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. High integrity, discretion, and commitment to WWF Zambia’s mission and values. Working Relationships Internal: Collaborate closely with Landscape Programme Teams, Conservation Programme Teams, Policy & Advocacy, Monitoring & Evaluation, Finance & Administration, and WWF Network Offices. External: Engage with financial institutions, investors, donors, government agencies, private sector actors, NGOs, academic institutions, and local communities.
