The Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA), a statutory body established under the ZAQA Act No. 8 of 2024, is inviting applications for multiple accounts jobs in Lusaka. ZAQA is responsible for developing and implementing a National Qualifications Framework (NQF), registering qualifications on the NQF, and ensuring that registered qualifications meet international standards. We seek qualified and motivated professionals to join our team on a permanent and pensionable basis.
Available Positions: Accounts Officer and Accounts Assistant
Accounts Officer
Position Type: Full Time, Permanent and Pensionable
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations to ensure proper accountability of funds.
- Prepare and submit technical and analytical financial reports.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
- Membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.
- Minimum of two years’ relevant work experience.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Applicants must have their Grade 12 and degree qualifications verified by ZAQA and include verification certificates with their application.
Accounts Assistant
Position Type: Full Time, Permanent and Pensionable
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide basic financial management support to facilitate the production of financial reports.
- Assist with financial documentation and record keeping.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.
- Experience in stores management is an added advantage.
- Strong technical and analytical report writing skills.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Applicants must have their Grade 12 and diploma qualifications verified by ZAQA and include verification certificates with their application.
