Job description

Kariba Harvest Limited, a fish farming company located in Siavonga and operating under the Mvuvi Group, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions:

1.⁠ ⁠Security Officer (2 Positions)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide security and protection of company property, personnel, and assets.

• Control access to company premises and monitor movements.

• Conduct regular patrols and report any suspicious activity or incidents.

• Maintain occurrence books and prepare security reports when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.

• Previous experience in a security role will be an added advantage.

• Physically fit and able to work shifts.

• Honest, disciplined, and reliable.

2.⁠ ⁠Accounts Assistant (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.

• Process invoices, receipts, and payments.

• Assist with bank reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software will be an added advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

3.⁠ ⁠Logistics Assistant / Driver (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating transportation of fish products, equipment, and supplies.

• Drive company vehicles to support operational and logistical activities.

• Maintain records of deliveries, shipments, and inventory movement.

• Ensure vehicles are maintained in good condition and comply with safety requirements.

• Support general logistics and supply chain operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

4.⁠ ⁠Feeder (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities

• Feed fish according to approved feeding schedules and operational procedures.

• Monitor fish behavior during feeding and report abnormalities.

• Maintain feeding equipment and ensure cleanliness of feeding areas.

• Assist with general fish farming activities when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Fisheries and Aquaculture or a related field.

• Ability to work outdoors and in physically demanding conditions.

• Team player with strong work ethic.

5.⁠ ⁠Transferees (4 Positions)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the transfer of fish between cages, ponds, and operational areas.

• Support stocking, grading, and harvesting activities.

• Handle fish carefully to minimize stress and mortality.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety during transfer operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Fisheries and Aquaculture or a related field.

• Physically fit and able to work in water-based environments.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
