1. Job Title: RegistrarCareer counseling service
Reports to: The Executive Director/Principal
Overall Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership and management for the University’s academic registry, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of all student academic records and the seamless administration of academic policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire student lifecycle, from admission and registration to academic records, examination management, and graduation.
Develop, implement, and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures for the Registry department.
Ensure compliance with the University’s academic regulations, as well as those set by the Higher Education Authority and other relevant bodies.
Manage the preparation and publication of the University calendar, examination timetables, and academic transcripts.
Lead the admissions process, ensuring it is efficient, transparent, and aligned with the University’s mission.
Serve as the Secretary to the Senate and other key academic committees, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up on decisions.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for the staff within the Registry department.

Qualifications and Experience:
A Master’s degree in Educational Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.
At least 8-10 years of progressive administrative experience in a university setting, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within a Registry or Academic Affairs department.
Proven experience in interpreting and applying legal frameworks, policies, and regulations related to academic administration and student affairs.
Demonstrated knowledge of university academic policies, student information systems (SIS), and data management best practices.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

2. Job Title: Academic Dean & Quality Assurance
Reports to: The Executive Director/Principal
Overall Purpose:
To provide visionary academic leadership, overseeing the development, delivery, and quality assurance of all academic programs at Bootstrap Christian University. The Dean will champion academic excellence, faculty development, and a vibrant learning environment that integrates faith and scholarship.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for all academic schools, departments, and programs.
Lead the curriculum development and review process to ensure it remains relevant, rigorous, and aligned with the University’s mission and industry needs.
Oversee faculty recruitment, professional development, performance evaluation, and mentorship to foster a culture of teaching and research excellence.
Promote and support a robust research culture among faculty and students.
Manage the academic budget and resources effectively.
Lead the University’s accreditation and quality assurance initiatives with local and international bodies.
Foster a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages interdisciplinary teaching and innovation.
Address student academic matters, including academic appeals and the maintenance of academic standards.

Qualifications and Experience:
A PhD or equivalent terminal degree from a recognized university.
A distinguished record of teaching, research, and scholarly publications.
At least 10 years of experience in higher education, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior academic leadership role (e.g., Head of Department, Associate Dean, or Dean).
Proven experience in curriculum design, faculty management, and academic quality assurance.
Strong strategic planning, financial management, and leadership skills.
A deep commitment to Christian higher education and the ability to articulate and model its integration.

3. Job Title: Lecturer – School of Law (02 Positions)Career counseling service
Reports to: The Dean, School of Law / Head of Department
Â
Overall Purpose:
To teach, supervise, and mentor students in the School of Law, contributing to a high-quality academic program that upholds the values of justice, integrity, and ethical leadership from a Christian perspective.
Â
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and assess courses in specific areas of law (e.g., Contract Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, etc.) at undergraduate levels.
Develop and update course materials, including lecture notes, reading lists, and assignments, in line with the curriculum.
Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputable academic journals.
Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and moot court activities.
Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their holistic development.
Participate actively in departmental and faculty meetings, as well as university-wide committees.
Contribute to the community engagement and outreach activities of the School of Law.

Qualifications and Experience:
A Master of Laws (LLM) degree is essential. A PhD in Law will be a distinct advantage.
An undergraduate Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with at least a merit or its equivalent.
A valid practicing certificate as an Advocate in Zambia is highly desirable.
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at a university level.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Teaching Methodology
Demonstrated potential for high-quality research and publication.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
