About XPoint Investment Limited

Xpoint Investment Limited is a company that specializes in the processing of precious metals such as Gold. Our productions sites are located in Mumbwa with our headquarters in Lusaka.

We are looking for the services of qualified personnel to join our team at our newly constructed CIP Plant in Mumbwa and will be stationed on site.

1.Plant Operator

The primarily responsibilities include the following
Core Duties

Operate and monitor equipment such as crushers, mills, pumps, screens, carbon adsorption tanks and elution plant.
Identify process inefficiencies and take corrective actions.
Assist maintenance personnel in performing repairs and servicing equipment. troubleshooting and resolving process issues.
Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and adhere to mining regulations.
Supervise handling and storing of hazardous chemicals (cyanide, lime, activated carbon) safely.
Supervise sampling & Quality Control.
Overall plant supervision & good housekeeping.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills 

Full Grade 12 Certificate
Minimum of Diploma in Metallurgy and Mineral Processing Engineering or related field.
Certification in Mine Safety is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years working experience in mine safety or related field.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to conduct inspections and investigations in a mine environment.

2.Shift lab Supervisor

The primarily responsibilities include the following
Core Duties

Carrying out laboratory operations (samples preparation, cyanide titrations, pH, flowrates)
Plant SG sheet record keeping & reporting.
Ensure that all tests are performed accurately and according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Review and validate analytical results before reporting to process teams and senior management
Develop work schedules and assign tasks to laboratory staff to maintain efficient laboratory operations.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills 

Full Grade 12 Certificate
Minimum of Diploma in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in a gold processing plant laboratory.
Strong knowledge of gold assay techniques, including fire assay, atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), and inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis.
Familiarity with laboratory quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) practices and ISO standards.
Experience with laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.
Proficiency in laboratory data management and reporting software.

3.Control Room Attendant

The primarily responsibilities include the following
Core Duties

Monitor and control pumps, screens, crushers, ball mills, leach tanks, centrifugal concentrators and associated equipment with controls in the control room.
Crushing plant and CIP plant startup and shutdown.
Respond to alarms, diagnose process upsets, and take corrective action to prevent plant shutdowns or equipment damage.
Coordinate with field operators to verify system readings and ensure smooth process operations
Identify early warning signs of equipment malfunctions and communicate findings to maintenance and operations teams.
Initiate emergency shutdown procedures when necessary and follow established protocols for plant start-up and shutdown sequences.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills

Full Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma or Certificate in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in a gold processing plant, with prior exposure to control room operations preferred.
Experience operating a Distributed Control System.
Familiarity with gold processing circuits, including crushing, grinding, leaching, adsorption, and tailings disposal.
Knowledge of process control principles, troubleshooting techniques, and plant safety protocols
