Duties & Responsibilities

Construct mechanical systems/equipment from drawings
Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults
Work independently or collaboratively
Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Maintain quality standards

Job Title: Machinist (Milling Machine Operator) (1 position)

Experience: 7–10 years

Skills & Knowledge

Interpret engineering, drawings and sketches
Operate milling machines
Select module gear cutters and use dividing head/indexing systems
Proficient with machine cutters, tools, and instruments
Self-motivated for continuous learning

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate milling machines and cut gears, sprockets, keyways, slots, bores & reamers
Follow foreman instructions/job cards
Work both independently and in a team
Meet deadlines and uphold quality standards
Maintain machines, tools, and perform minor repairs

Job Title: Machinist (Lathe Machine Operator) (3 positions)

Experience: 5–7 years

Skills & Knowledge

Read engineering drawings/sketches
Operate heavy lathe machinery
Select gears for threading/self-speed adjustments
Understand bearing sizing/finishing systems and lathe tools
Committed to ongoing learning

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate heavy-duty lathes and cut all thread types
Grind tools/drills per material specifications
Follow foreman instructions/job cards
Work independently or as part of a team
Meet timeframes and quality requirements
Keep tools safe, perform maintenance and minor repairs
