Alliance Stream Limited, a reputable and fast-growing logistics company, is seeking suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our technical team in the following positions:

MECHANICS (X6)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain light and heavy-duty vehicles.

• Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance.

• Perform diagnostic assessments using computerized and manual tools.

• Overhaul engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspensions.

• Perform emergency roadside repairs when required.

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure fleet roadworthiness.

• Monitor, identify, and request vehicle parts needing replacement.

• Maintain detailed service logs and update maintenance schedules consistently.

• Perform quality checks before releasing vehicles back into operation.

• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and Zambian transport regulations.

• Assist in training junior mechanics and apprentices.

• Collaborate with the DMT and operations teams to meet service deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Craft Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Automotive Mechanics

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in a logistics or fleet environment.

• Valid EIZ membership.

• Valid driver’s license (CE) added advantage

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

BOILER MAKERS (X2)

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metal structures and vehicle components.

• Perform welding using ARC, MIG, and TIG techniques to required safety standards.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Fabricate truck and trailer parts such as frames, brackets, bumpers, and reinforcements.

• Conduct cutting, bending, shaping, and assembling of metal components.

• Inspect and repair fuel tanks, exhaust systems, chassis parts, and trailer bodies.

• Maintain welding machines and fabrication equipment in good working condition.

• Ensure all fabricated components meet required structural and safety standards.

• Perform site-based welding tasks within the workshop or operational yard.

• Identify material needs and assist with metals and consumables inventory.

• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safety compliant.

• Provide technical input on structural improvements for fleet reliability.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Craft Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Metal Fabrication, Welding, or Boiler Making

• Minimum 2 years’ industrial experience.

• Valid EIZ membership.

AUTO ELECTRICIAN (X4)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems for logistics and heavy-duty vehicles.

• Maintain wiring, lighting, ignition, and ECU-controlled systems.

• Diagnose and repair faults in alternators, starters, batteries, and charging systems.

• Inspect and repair wiring harnesses, relays, fuses, and vehicle sensors.

• Troubleshoot ABS systems, airbag systems, dashboard displays, and ECU faults.

• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and clear error codes.

• Ensure cables are properly routed and protected to avoid electrical hazards.

• Maintain accurate reports of all electrical work completed.

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems across the entire fleet.

• Support mechanics in diagnosing faults involving both mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Craft Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Auto Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in automotive electrical systems.

• Valid EIZ membership.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle electronics and diagnostic tools.

The Required Attributes Include:

• Strong understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems.

• Skilled in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

TRUCK DRIVERS (X10)

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks for cross-border logistics operations.

• Maintain accurate PODs, customs papers, and trip sheets.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Report any mechanical, electrical, or operational issues immediately.

• Comply with all road transport regulations in Zambia and neighboring countries.

• Safeguard company cargo, equipment, and documents.

• Coordinate with DMT and Operations team for smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years cross-border driving experience.

• Driver’s License (CE) Category D.

• Dangerous Goods (DG) Certificate.

• Valid Passport.

• Valid Police Clearance.

• Yellow Fever Vaccination Card.

The Required Attributes Include:

• Knowledge of customs procedures, border crossings, and regional routes.

• Strong safety awareness and honesty.

• Communication
