GRN Constructions Zambia Limited Company based at KCM Nchanga Open Pit is looking for the suitably qualified individuals to fill the following vacancies.

1. SITE SUPERINTENDANT MANAGER (1)
• Minimum Grade 12 certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in mining Engineering
• At least not less than five (5) years mining related experience
• Prior pit planning experience
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis certificate
• Valid Driver’s license
• Fully paid-up member of the EIZ
• Excellent Supervisory Skills
• Computer literacy with basic skills and ability to work with basic MS applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Result Driven

2. HR OFFICER
• Minimum Grade 12 certificate
• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fully paid-up member of the ZIHRM
• Proven Experience ( 5 years) in the HR role is preferred
• Excellent communication – strong verbal and written skills

3. SAFFETY OFFICERS (2)
• Minimum of Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management system (OHSAS-ISO 18001)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License
• Five (10) years’ minimum experience
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis certificate

4. ADT OPERATOR (10)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Five (5) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

5. TIPPER TRUCKS OPERATOR (10)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Five (5) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• Must have a valid Driver’s lenience (class c and above)
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

6. GRADER OPERATORS (4)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Five (5) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

7. EXCAVATOR OPERATORS (5)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Five (5) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

8. DOZER OPERATORS (5)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Five (5) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

9. JCB OPERATOR (1)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Five (5) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

10. CRANE OPERATOR (1)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Five (5) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

11. COMPACTOR OPERATOR (1)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Five (5) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

12. BOILER MAKER (2)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Three (3) years’ experience in an Open-Pit mining set up will be an added advantage
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Able to read and write

13. H.E.R MECHANICS (20)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum of a Craft Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair.
• Valid driver’s licenses
• Three (3) years’ experience
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Fully paid-up member of the EIZ
• Able to read and write

14. MAINTENANCE FOREMEN (6)
• Advanced technician or equivalent
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Should have strong leadership, conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licenses
• Three (3) years’ experience
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis
• Fully paid-up member of the EIZ
• Able to read and write

15. MINE CAPTAINS (3)
• Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering
• Grade 12 Certificate
• A valid Blasting Certificate (BL)
• First Aid Certificate
• At least 3 years practical experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Five (5) years’ minimum experience
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis certificate
• Fully paid-up member of the EIZ
• Excellent Supervisory Skills
• Computer literacy with basic skills and ability to work with basic Ms applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Result Driven

16. SHIFT BOSSES (5)
• Diploma in Mining Engineering
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Blasting Certificate (BL)
• First Aid Certificate
• At least 3 years practical experience
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis certificate
• Fully paid-up member of the EIZ
• Excellent Supervisory Skills
• Computer literacy with basic skills and ability to work with basic Ms applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Result Driven

17. PERSON IN CHARGE-PICs (3)
• Diploma in Mining Engineering
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Blasting Certificate (BL)
• First Aid Certificate
• At least 3 years practical experience
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis certificate

18. DISPATCHER
• Diploma in information technology (IT)
• Grade 12 Certificate
• At least 3 years’ experience in transport coordination
• Should have knowledge of truckloads, broker network, load bookings
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to work under pressure, strong communication
• And flexibility for shifts
• In possession of a Valid Silicosis certificate
