MedSpa Nurse (IV Therapy & Skin Wellness)

The MedSpa Nurse will be responsible for safely administering IV drips and wellness injections (e.g., skin brightening, hydration, vitamin therapy) in a spa setting. The role requires a balance of clinical expertise, client care, and wellness-focused service to ensure safe, comfortable, and effective treatments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct client assessments to determine suitability for IV drips or injectable treatments.
Administer IV drips and injections (e.g., skin brightening, detox, hydration, energy boosters) according to spa protocols.
Monitor clients throughout treatment to ensure safety and comfort.
Educate clients on the benefits, risks, and aftercare of IV therapy.
Maintain accurate client records, consent forms, and treatment notes.
Follow strict hygiene, safety, and infection-control procedures.
Work collaboratively with beauty therapists and spa staff to provide a holistic wellness experience.
Assist in managing medical supplies and ensuring all equipment is sterile and functional.
Provide first aid or emergency care if required.

Qualifications & Skills

Registered/Enrolled Nurse (with valid practicing license in Zambia).
Previous experience in IV therapy, phlebotomy, or clinical nursing (spa/ wellness experience is an advantage).
Excellent venipuncture skills and knowledge of IV drip preparation.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
Professional, approachable, and client-focused.
Ability to work in a non-hospital, wellness-centered environment.
High standards of hygiene and safety awareness.
