Job Advertisement – Mechanical Fitter X 5

Goldenlay Agri Ltd is the largest producer, supplier, and distributor of table eggs across Zambia, with a well-established brand recognized by both retailers and consumers. We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Mechanical Fitters

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication work as assigned.
Conduct fabrication and repair activities within poultry houses.
Participate in mechanical maintenance tasks, including installation, alignment, overhauling, and repair of machinery.
Maintain de-dusting units and tension chains in poultry houses.
Conduct oiling and greasing of chains and bearings.
Assist in servicing, replacing, assembling, and fitting machinery components and installations.
Support breakdown response, maintenance, overhauling, and commissioning of machines and systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, work procedures, and environmental regulations.
Follow equipment handling procedures, ensuring maintenance tools and personnel are cleared before handing over equipment for operation.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 Certificate.
Minimum of a Craft Certificate or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
