Pacific Ventures Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Sales Manager in Lusaka, Zambia, to lead the promotion and sales of soya De-Oiled Cake (DOC), soya chunks, rice, and related agricultural products. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive annual salary range of ZMW 72,000 to 150,000 for candidates with a proven track record in agro-commodity sales.

Role Overview – Marketing and Sales Manager Jobs in Lusaka

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth across local and regional markets, expanding the customer base, and managing the marketing of imported rice products. This role demands an energetic professional with strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for DOC, soya products, and rice within local and regional markets.
• Maintain and expand a robust customer network for agro products, focusing on DOC and rice.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential buyers.
• Manage marketing and sales activities related to imported rice products.
• Conduct follow-ups with customers to negotiate deals and ensure timely payment collections.
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in sales and marketing of DOC, animal feed raw materials, soya products, rice, or similar agro commodities.
• Existing client network and buyer contacts for DOC (soya cake) and rice are highly preferred.
• Experience in rice trading or sales is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and willingness to travel as required.
• Strong understanding of market pricing and customer relationship management.

Qualifications and Location

While practical experience in the relevant field is prioritized over formal education, candidates with a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, or related disciplines will have an added advantage. The position is based in Lusaka, Zambia.
