Marketing & Communications Intern Opportunity in Ndola WeForest Zambia is inviting applications for marketing communications intern jobs in Ndola, offering an exciting internship for recent graduates passionate about environmental sustainability and community development. About WeForest Zambia Established in 2019, WeForest Zambia Ltd operates from its headquarters in Ndola, Copperbelt Province, implementing four forest restoration projects across the Copperbelt and Muchinga Provinces. As part of the WeForest Global network—an international non-profit headquartered in Belgium—WeForest Zambia contributes to large-scale forest restoration, biodiversity conservation, and livelihood improvement initiatives. The organisation’s holistic approach integrates forest conservation with community governance and sustainable economic opportunities, positively impacting people, nature, and climate. Role Overview: Marketing Communications Intern Jobs in Ndola The Marketing & Communications Intern will be based at the WeForest Zambia Head Office in Ndola. This internship supports the Head of Marketing and Communications in Europe by managing communications across the Africa portfolio and assisting local communication needs in Zambia. The role involves administrative coordination, document management, scheduling, and project tracking to ensure smooth execution of communication initiatives. Key Responsibilities Draft and edit content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms Support social media management, including post scheduling and engagement monitoring Assist with internal communications to enhance team collaboration Contribute to the development of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and email campaigns Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels Manage and archive department documents including photography, program stories, and operational procedures Assist in preparing quarterly department reports Coordinate storytelling formats by liaising with local teams and the headquarters Support local communication efforts within Zambia Candidate Profile and Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Creative thinker with a willingness to learn and adapt Basic knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, along with digital marketing principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is desirable Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or social media insights is an advantage Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively Positive attitude with eagerness for professional development Available full-time during the internship (five days per week) Application Details Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by sending a cover letter and CV to recruitment.zambia@weforest.org.
