Role Overview: Marketing Business Development Jobs in Lusaka

As a Marketing & Business Development Officer, you will work closely with the Brand & Partnerships Manager to implement marketing campaigns, engage customers through digital and field marketing, generate leads, and support business development initiatives for Panda Africa’s diverse product portfolio. This role demands a proactive approach to customer relationship management and strategic partnership development to strengthen the company’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Brand Support: Assist in executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities across multiple platforms including Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, and SMS.
  • Participate actively in marketing activations, roadshows, and community outreach programs to boost brand visibility.
  • Support monitoring and reporting on campaign performance on a weekly basis.
  • Lead Generation & Customer Engagement: Generate and nurture leads for salary-backed loans, SME financing, solar products, and motorbikes.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries and provide assistance throughout the application process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and community stakeholders to support acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Business Development Support: Identify and assist in developing partnerships with SMEs, institutions, and community groups.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Represent Panda Africa at marketing events and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, customer engagement, or business development is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Creative, self-driven, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness and ability to work in the field and achieve set targets.

Performance Metrics

  • Number of leads generated and successfully converted.
  • Growth in customer acquisition.
  • Successful execution of campaigns and activations.
  • Digital engagement and audience reach.
  • Completion of partnership support activities.
  • Achievement of monthly performance targets.
