Job description
The Zambia National Farmers’ Union (ZNFU) is the leading farmers’ representative body in Zambia, serving as the voice of farmers across the country. As part of its communication strategy, ZNFU publishes The Zambian Farmer Magazine to communicate with the farming community, agribusiness stakeholders, policymakers, and the general public.
To strengthen the magazine’s sustainability and enhance visibility opportunities for agribusinesses, ZNFU seeks to engage results-driven Marketing & Sales Executives who will be responsible for sourcing advertisement business for the magazine.
The Sales Executives shall be responsible for the following:
1. Conduct Sales and Business Development through sourcing advertisements.
2. Handle Client Relationship Management to maintain excellent service to advertisers and the ZNFU.
3. Perform Marketing Support functions and contribute to shaping marketing strategies for the magazine.
4. Generate information towards administration and desired reports for purposes of record keeping, management, payments, etc.
5. To generate monthly sales targets through advertising income.
6. Remuneration will be on a commission basis.
Skills; Must possess a formal tertiary qualification such as a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; have a minimum of 2 (two) years of progressive sales and marketing experience and traceable references.
