Job description

Broadleaf Urban Properties is looking for a dynamic legal professional to join our team! If you have expertise in property law, compliance, and conveyancing, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Qualifications & Experience

LL.B (Bachelor’s Degree in Law) from a recognized university.
LL.M (Master’s Degree in Law) or a related field is an added advantage.
Certification in Conveyancing or Legal Compliance is preferred.
2–4 years of experience in property law, real estate compliance, and legal advisory.
Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal guidance on property transactions, contracts, and leasing agreements.
Conveyancing: Oversee legal compliance in property transfers and manage documentation.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local real estate laws and regulations.
Risk Management: Conduct due diligence and mitigate legal risks in property dealings.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the legal and compliance team.
Client Relations: Represent the company in negotiations and legal discussions.
Policy Development: Draft internal policies and conduct staff training on legal compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
In-depth knowledge of Zambian property law and regulatory frameworks.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership qualities.
