Jubaili Agrotec Limited is currently seeking a dynamic and proactive Logistics Officer to join our team in Lusaka, Zambia. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals eager to contribute to efficient logistics operations, procurement support, and regulatory compliance within a leading company.

About the Logistics Officer Role

As a Logistics Officer, you will play a vital role in coordinating dispatch schedules, managing transport arrangements, and tracking deliveries both within and beyond Lusaka. You will also provide essential support in procurement activities, clearing and forwarding documentation, and fleet administration to ensure seamless business processes.

Key Responsibilities for Logistics Officer Jobs in Lusaka

  • Coordinate dispatch schedules, transport arrangements, and delivery tracking within and outside Lusaka.
  • Source and manage approved transporters and local suppliers in line with company procurement procedures.
  • Obtain and negotiate supplier quotations to secure the best value for the company.
  • Monitor shipments, resolve delivery issues, and maintain accurate logistics records.
  • Prepare and submit clearing documentation, duty payment records, and vendor invoices.
  • Follow up with clearing agents on invoices, duty payments, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Oversee fleet documentation, including insurance, road tax, fitness certificates, and scheduled vehicle servicing.
  • Track stock replenishment and evaluate supplier performance while maintaining procurement records.
  • Support the renewal of company licenses, registrations, and operational permits.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies such as ZEMA, ZAMRA, and ZARI.
  • Maintain accurate files related to logistics, procurement, and clearing.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in logistics, procurement, clearing and forwarding, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, transport coordination, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
