The Logistics and Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of motor vehicle spare parts. The role involves maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating international procurement from foreign suppliers, and ensuring timely availability of parts to support sales and operations. Strong computer skills are essential for inventory tracking and supplier coordination.

Monitor, track, and manage stock levels of motor vehicle spare parts using computerized inventory systems
Ensure optimal stock availability while avoiding overstocking or shortages
Identify, source, and place orders with foreign suppliers and manufacturers
Prepare and process purchase orders, import documentation, and supplier invoices
Follow up on shipments, deliveries, and customs clearance with freight forwarders
Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to understand demand and usage trends
Maintain accurate records of inventory, procurement, pricing, and supplier details
Analyze fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete spare parts
Prepare regular reports on stock status, procurement activities, and supplier performance
Ensure compliance with company procedures and import regulations

Experience in the motor vehicle spare parts or automotive industry will be a strong advantage

Skills and Competencies
Strong computer skills, including MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems
Ability to manage large product ranges and detailed part numbers
Good communication and negotiation skills with international suppliers
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and analytical thinking

Reliable and capable of handling multiple priorities
