Located in Kazungula District along Mambova Road, Grace Centre is a community-based initiative accredited by TEVETA. The Centre provides free skills training programs and supports vulnerable girls through educational sponsorships in primary and secondary schools. Its diverse income-generating projects include tailoring, a business centre, poultry farming, a lodge, conference facilities, and a restaurant, all contributing to the sustainability of the school.

Qualifications and Experience Required for Lodge Supervisor Jobs in Kazungula

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in hospitality or lodge management.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Excellent customer care abilities.
• Capability to maintain accurate records and manage sales accountability effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the Lodge Supervisor

• Manage and maintain buildings, machinery, equipment, furniture, bedding, and consumable stock.
• Ensure accommodation facilities, including the bar, restaurant, kitchen, toilets, showers, and surrounding areas, are clean and well-presented to attract clients.
• Account for all sales and promptly hand over funds to the Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all lodge transactions in both hard and soft copy formats.
• Promote sales to generate sufficient income to cover operational expenses.
• Report daily to the Founder on lodge activities and income generated.
• Oversee property security, ensuring gates are closed by 21:00 and security personnel perform their duties effectively.
• Brief staff daily on their responsibilities and supervise the execution of assigned tasks.
• Liaise with the Grace Centre kitchen regarding timely food orders, including continental breakfasts for guests.
• Immediately report any accidents, thefts, security incidents, misconduct, or other issues impacting lodge operations or reputation.
• Deliver courteous, professional, and customer-friendly service to all guests and visitors.
• Address customer complaints promptly and appropriately to maintain high satisfaction levels.
