Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, assess, and process loan applications
- Conduct client due diligence and credit risk assessments
- Manage and grow a loan portfolio within assigned territory
- Ensure timely loan recovery and minimize default rates
- Maintain accurate client records and reporting
- Ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Prior experience in loan/credit officer role (microfinance experience an added advantage)
- Strong knowledge of the local business environment in the applicable location
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the specified location
