Loan Officers

Job description

We are seeking experienced and results-driven Loan Officers to join our growing team. The ideal candidates must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with practical experience in loan processing, debt collection, car collateral financing, and project financing.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit potential clients
• Assess loan applications and evaluate client eligibility
• Conduct credit assessments, client verification, and risk analysis
• Handle loan processing and preparation of loan documentation
• Manage and monitor loan portfolios effectively
• Handle vehicle collateral financing processes, including verification and documentation
• Assess and manage project financing applications and repayments
• Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely debt recovery
• Provide professional financial guidance and customer support
• Ensure compliance with company lending procedures and policies
• Prepare regular loan performance and recovery reports

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role
• Experience in car collateral financing and project financing is mandatory
• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
• Strong understanding of lending procedures, credit analysis, and debt recovery
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets
• Experience in microfinance or financial institutions will be an added advantage
