Job description

LanjiZ Management Consultants assists Corporate Clients to scale-up by concentrating on their core businesses and leave the management of Resources to us! Our services include Recruitment, Training (L&D), Advisory Services and Business Process Outsourcing.

Our client – a Micro Finance Lending Institution seeks the services of a self-driven Loan Officer  (Junior Officer). The Loan Officer will be required to carry out the following but not limited to:

Duties:

Solicit clients from anywhere in Zambia.
Maintain and monitor performance of each loan under their custodianship.
Monitor accounts for missed payments and initiate follow-ups.
Ensure accurate records of communication and payment activity.
Present clients’ applications with correct information.
Guide and prepare clients when making an application.

Requirements:

Diploma and at least a college certificate in business or a related field preferred.
Experience in debt collection or customer service.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and debt collection software
