About the Loan Officer Role – Loan Officer Car Loans Jobs Lusaka

Our client requires a motivated and results-oriented Loan Officer to drive sales and client acquisition in Lusaka. This full-time position involves identifying potential customers, promoting auto loan products, assessing client needs, and facilitating the loan application process. The ideal candidate will excel in sales, provide exceptional customer service, and build lasting relationships while meeting loan disbursement targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Manage and maintain relationships with auto collateral loan clients, including those with or without GPS or physical vehicle impound. Meet monthly and quarterly loan disbursement goals.
• Channel Expansion: Develop partnerships with used car dealerships, auto finance companies, insurance agents, and auto repair providers to secure reliable client acquisition channels.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough client screenings covering vehicle appraisals, credit checks, repayment capacity, and verification of loan purposes.
• Post-Loan Management: Monitor loan repayments and manage collection activities effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in auto collateral loans, auto finance, leasing, pawnshops, or related sectors.
• Valid driver’s license with proficiency in driving common vehicle models.
• Preferably connected with used car dealerships, agencies, or car owner networks in Lusaka.
• Strong knowledge of market trends for mainstream vehicle models to accurately appraise vehicles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build trust quickly and close deals.
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential fraud risks.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: K5,000
• Commission: Tiered commission ranging from 5% to 8% of business revenue generated.
