Job description
JOB PURPOSE
To undertake the preparation and delivery of training to impart knowledge, attitudes and skills in students.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare and deliver theoretical and practical learning of high standards
· Maintaining a teaching file
· Assess students by administering assignments and tests
· Maintain students’ performance records
· Maintain order and discipline among students
· Participate in designing, marketing and implementation of viable programmes and projects
· Coordinate with other staff in ensuring institute objectives are achieved.
· Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
o Full Grade twelve (12) or equivalent Certificate with credits or better in five subjects.
o Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery.
o Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
o Diploma in Teaching methodology.
o TEVETA accredited trainer as an added advantage.
o Two (2) years Teaching/practical experience preferably in a TEVET Institution.
o Good facilitation and interpersonal skills.
