Position: Lecturers in Digital Media & Journalism

Marvelous University of Technology and Applied Sciences (MUTAS) is seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals to join its dynamic academic team. We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturers in Digital Media & Journalism.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching in Digital Media and Journalism.
Develop, review, and update course materials to meet academic and industry standards.
Supervise student projects, research, and practical assignments.
Engage in academic research, innovation, and professional development activities.
Participate in departmental and institutional activities to enhance student learning and university growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

Master’s Degree in Public Relations or Journalism & Mass Communication (essential).
PhD in Journalism, Mass Communication, or Public Relations (an added advantage).
Diploma in Teaching Methodology (essential).
Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in journalism, media, or related fields.
Evidence of ZQA (Zambia Qualifications Authority) verified academic qualifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire students.
Demonstrated ability to integrate theory with practical, real-world media and journalism practice.
