Laboratory Technicians (2 Positions)

Location: Shibuyunji District, Zambia

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a leading international construction company, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Laboratory Technician (2 Positions) based in Shibuyunji District.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Carry out laboratory and field testing of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.

· Collect, prepare, and analyze material samples in accordance with approved testing procedures and standards.

· Record, compile, and maintain accurate laboratory test results and reports.

· Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated safely.

· Assist in monitoring quality control and quality assurance processes on construction projects.

· Report test results to engineers and project management teams in a timely manner

· Maintain laboratory housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards.

· Perform any other duties assigned by the Laboratory Manager or Project Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

· Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.

· At least two (2) years of relevant experience in construction materials testing.

· Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control standards.

· Ability to operate laboratory testing equipment and interpret results accurately.

· Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.

· Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.

· Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision.
