About the role:

The client is seeking a Junior Procurement Executive to support the end-to-end buying process, focusing on sourcing, negotiating, ordering, and managing suppliers to ensure cost-effective, timely acquisition of goods/services, handling RFQs, POs, delivery coordination, invoice verification, and maintaining documentation and supplier relationships, aligning with company policies and seeking best value.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services
Support supplier onboarding, communication, and performance monitoring
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company procedures
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking
Track delivery schedules and follow up on late or incomplete orders
Assist with cost analysis, pricing comparisons, and supplier evaluations
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation
Work closely with warehouse, finance, and retail teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
1–2 years’ experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain (retail experience an advantage)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good analytical and organisational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems

Compensation:

The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
