Job description
JOB VACANCY
JUNIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR AND COST ACCOUNTANT – REF NO. 050826 – 1
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from a recognized university.
- Current registration with ZICA
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of IFRS, ZICA Code of Professional Conduct, and Zambian Corporate tax principles
Location:
Lusaka, Zambia
Requirements/Instructions:
- Draft audit work papers ensuring documentation is sufficient to support conclusions and meets local auditing standards.
- Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and risks; assist in drafting practical recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in evaluating company compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements (including ZRA tax compliance, NAPSA, and NHIMA).
- Help track and follow up on open audit findings to ensure timely remediation by departmental heads.
