JUNIOR CASHIER

Job description

A fast-growing retail shop based in Chalala (Highlife area, Kasama Road) is seeking a disciplined and reliable Junior Cashier to join its operations team.

This is not a position for the complacent. It demands consistency, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Requirements:

· Must be 25 years or below

· Must possess relevant accounting qualifications (Certificate, Diploma or equivalent)

· Must be willing and able to work long hours, including weekends

· Must demonstrate the ability to work with minimum supervision

· Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

· High levels of honesty and accountability

Key Responsibilities:

· Handling daily cash transactions efficiently and accurately

· Maintaining proper records of sales and receipts

· Reconciling cash at the end of each shift

· Supporting basic stock and financial controls within the shop

· Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times
