We are specifically looking for qualified candidates interested in instrument technician jobs in Mazabuka to fill critical roles within our team. Available Position: Instrument Technician (Full Time, Permanent) Reporting directly to the Maintenance Foreman – Instruments, the Instrument Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of pneumatic and mechanical instrumentation systems throughout the plant. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough plant inspections to detect and diagnose equipment defects Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation systems to ensure accuracy and reliability Optimize control loops through precise tuning and adjustments Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical instruments and components Ensure all equipment operates safely and complies with regulatory and company standards Support continuous improvement initiatives and enhance maintenance reliability Prepare detailed maintenance reports and provide timely feedback Collaborate closely with operations and process optimization teams Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Certificate Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering At least 2 years’ experience in a heavy industry environment Proven experience in industrial instrumentation Experience in the sugar industry is advantageous Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) ZAQA verified qualifications are mandatory Handyman Welder – Instrumentation (Full Time, Permanent) Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman – Instrumentation, the Handyman Welder will assist in the fabrication, welding, installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation systems and associated equipment.
