We are looking for a Health & Safety Officer to join our team in Ndola Zambia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure workplace safety.
Deliver safety training, awareness campaigns, and toolbox talks for employees.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with Zambian laws, regulations, and company safety standards.
Collaborate with management and staff to promote a strong safety culture.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in health & safety (preferably in logistics, transport, or industrial environment).
Knowledge of Zambian health & safety regulations.
Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or related training will be an added advantage.
