We are seeking a competent, reliable, and hands-on IT Support & Infrastructure Officer to manage and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-user support, IT asset management, network administration, device management, and physical security systems such as CCTV.

This role is ideal for a technically strong individual with field experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

I.T Support & Maintenance

Service, maintain, and troubleshoot  computers, laptops, and printers
Install, configure, and support operating systems and standard business applications
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues
Provide timely IT support to staff and ensure minimal downtime
Computer Hardware

I.T Asset Management

Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets (computers, printers, network devices, CCTV, etc.)
Track asset allocation, movement, warranties, and lifecycle management
Support procurement planning and asset replacement schedules

Network & Security

Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks
Manage switches, routers, access points, and cabling
Ensure network availability, performance, and basic security controls
Assist with network security best practices (firewalls, access controls, segmentation)

Device Management (MDM)

Enroll, configure, and manage organizational devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools
Enforce device security policies (passwords, encryption, remote wipe, access control)
Monitor compliance and resolve device-related issues

Procurement & Vendor Support

Assist with the purchase of computers, printers, and IT equipment
Evaluate specifications and recommend suitable hardware
Liaise with vendors and service providers when required

CCTV Systems

Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems
Perform routine checks and troubleshooting of cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and cabling
Ensure CCTV systems are operational and recordings are secure

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology,  Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
At least 3 years of practical experience in IT support, networking, and infrastructure
Experience servicing computers, printers, and basic network equipment
Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive and travel to different sites
Networking certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Mikrotik, or equivalent

Added Advantages

Previous experience working in a finance company, microfinance institution, bank, or regulated environment
Experience with MDM solutions and endpoint security
Hands-on experience with CCTV installation and maintenance

Good documentation and asset tracking discipline
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and professionalism
