Role Profile:

FirstringHR Consulting is looking for a competent IT Officer to manage its IT infrastructure while also overseeing the company’s social media presence for its client. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, proactive, and creative, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems while enhancing the company’s online brand visibility.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain and troubleshoot company hardware, software, and network systems.
Install, configure, and update IT systems, including computers, printers, and mobile devices.
Ensure data security, backups, and IT policy compliance to prevent cyber threats.
Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues efficiently.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
Assist in procurement, setup, and maintenance of IT equipment.
Support fleet tracking systems and logistics software used for company operations.
Manage and regularly update the company’s social media pages (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
Create engaging content, promotional posts, and industry-related updates to boost online presence.
Monitor social media inquiries and engage with customers professionally.
Use basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) to create promotional content.
  Analyze social media engagement and generate performance reports for management.
  Assist with digital marketing strategies, including Google Ads and SEO to enhance online visibility.

Minimum Experience Qualifications and Skills

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
4 years proven experience in IT support and social media management.
  Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
Familiarity with logistics software and tracking systems is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a logistics, transport, or freight company.
Certification in IT security, networking, or digital marketing (e.g. Cisco, Google).
Knowledge of content creation, digital advertising, and analytics tools.
