Job description
IT Hardware Technician Intern
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Company: Qrent Zambia Limited
Type: Internship (Full-Time)
About Us
Qrent Zambia Limited is an IT hardware company providing IT hardware supply, installation,
maintenance, and support services. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on intern to join our technical team and gain real-world experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in installation and configuration of IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of computers
• Support hardware maintenance and servicing tasks
• Assist with OS installation and software setup
• Help manage and track IT assets
• Provide on-site and remote support
• Document technical issues and resolutions
Requirements
• Diploma or pursuing IT/Computer Engineering
• Basic knowledge of hardware and networking
• Familiar with Windows installation
• Multimeter skills (advantage)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication
• Must have a valid Manual drivers licence
