This full-time internship opportunity is designed to provide hands-on experience within a dynamic technical team based in Lusaka, Zambia.

Key Responsibilities for IT Hardware Technician Intern Jobs in Lusaka
- Assist with the installation and configuration of IT hardware such as desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of computer hardware.
- Support routine hardware maintenance and servicing activities.
- Assist with operating system installations and software setup tasks.
- Help manage and track IT assets to ensure accurate inventory control.
- Provide both on-site and remote technical support to clients and staff.
- Document technical issues encountered and the resolutions applied.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma holder or currently pursuing a qualification in IT or Computer Engineering.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking principles.
- Familiarity with Windows operating system installation.
- Experience or skills in using a multimeter will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Possession of a valid manual driver’s licence is mandatory.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience in hardware repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of imaging and deployment tools.
- Basic networking knowledge beyond foundational concepts.
