Job description

The IT Engineer at our Drone Alarm System Security Company is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems and related IT infrastructure. This role will support the installation and management of alarm systems, CCTV, access control systems, drone remote control system installation, operation and other security-related technology. The engineer ensures seamless operations of both physical and network security technologies, providing technical support to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Security Systems, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with security systems (e.g., alarm systems, CCTV, access control), IT infrastructure, or network administration. Experience with security companies can lower the requirements.

Experience in installing and maintaining IT equipment and access controls will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of networking protocols, IP-based security systems, and system integration.
Familiarity with surveillance software, remote monitoring, and cloud-based security solutions.
Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting in security environments.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients and non-technical staff clearly.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, especially in the context of security systems.

Certifications (Preferred):

CompTIA A+ or Network+.
Certification in security systems (e.g., CCTV, alarm system installation).
Basic knowledge of cyber security principles and practices (e.g., CCNA, Security+).

Working Conditions:

Full-time position, with occasional after-hours or weekend work for system installations or urgent repairs.

Travel to client sites for installations and support.

On-call availability in case of system malfunctions or emergencies.
