VSO is an international organization dedicated to fighting poverty through volunteer-driven initiatives. As part of our operational efficiency and asset management strategy, VSO is seeking to dispose of its used vehicle that is no longer required for our programs.
To ensure a fair, transparent, and competitive process, VSO invites interested individuals and organizations to participate in this tender for the purchase of the listed vehicle. The disposal process will follow an open bidding system, allowing eligible bidders to submit their offers in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
This tender aims to:
Provide equal opportunity to all interested buyers.
Ensure a fair market value for the vehicle.
Maintain transparency and accountability in the disposal process.
All interested parties are encouraged to carefully review the details provided and submit their bids before the specified deadline.
VSO- invites bids for the auction of following used vehicle registered in VSO On “AS IS WHERE IS” basis:

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS:
1. Interested bidders may visit VSO office for the inspection of vehicles between 9;30 AM to 2:00 pm on Friday 16 May and Monday May 19.
2. The bidders must be satisfied with the actual condition of vehicle prior to commencement of bidding. By the act of bidding, the bidders shall be considered to have inspected the vehicle purchased and to have accepted the vehicle in its then condition in all respects including all its faults and defects of whatever nature (if any).
3. Each bidder shall submit only one bid, multiple submissions of bids shall render the bidder disqualified.
4. Any bid received by VSO after the deadline for submission will be returned unopened to the Bidder
5. Bids lower than the reserve price may not be considered.
6. All applicable taxes and duties shall be collected as per the law from the highest bidder apart from the bid amount.
7. Interested bidders are required to provide bid security equivalent to 10% of quoted price, the bid security will be later returned to unsuccessful bidders.
8. Bidders must clearly state their offer
9. No negotiations after bid submission.
10. VSO reserves the right to reject any or all bids if the reserve price is not met.
11. The vehicles will be available for Visual inspection at VSO-Office Plot 17734, Mass Media, off Nangwenya road. Lusaka, Zambia near Muvi TV from 16th May 2025 to 20th May 2025 Morning from 9:30 AM to 2:00PM, Interested bidders are encouraged to Visual inspect the vehicles before submitting their bids.
12. Please note that VSO office Zambia will not provide any assistance either mechanical or manpower for the removal of the vehicle.
Bids must include:
Bidder’s full name, address, and contact details
Copy of valid identification (Passport/ID)
Bid amount
Payment terms and conditions
Any other relevant details
Submission of bid documents should be submitted in person to the office address stated on the above.
The deadline of bid submission is on 16/05/2025 04:00PM. Late bids will not be accepted.
Selection & Award
The highest bid per vehicle that meets the reserve price will be selected.
The seller (VSO) reserves the right to reject any or all bids without providing reasons.
Successful bidders will be notified via email or phone within 3 days after the deadline.
Payment & Vehicle Handover
Full payment must be made within 3 days of notification.
Payments must be made via Bank Transfer.
The vehicle will only be released upon full payment confirmation.
Transfer of ownership will be the responsibility of the buyer
The vehicles must be moved within two working days of receiving the payment.
