Job description
Project Background
Good Neighbors Zambia (GNZ) is a registered international non-governmental organization committed to promoting community development, food security, and resilience in Zambia. With the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), GNZ is implementing the Sustainable Agriculture-Based Climate Smart Agriculture Project in Chongwe District. The project seeks to enhance community resilience to climate change and strengthen household food security through the establishment of demonstration farms, the promotion of climate-smart agriculture practices, and the capacity building of smallholder farmers.
Lots
Lot 1: Construction of Infrastructure for Four (4) Demonstration Farms in Kapete, Chongwe District.
Lot 2: Construction of Infrastructure for Four (4) Demonstration Farms in Mulalika Camp, Chongwe District.
Scope of Works (per site)
The works shall include the construction of:
Training Shelter
Composting Shelter
Important Note
Each contractor may submit a bid for only one (1) lot (i.e., four sites).
Bids for more than one lot will not be considered.
Eligibility Criteria
Bidders must provide the following valid documentation (details in the bidding documents):
Proof of physical business address
Evidence of similar past, completed, or ongoing work
Company profile
Valid Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) certificate
Valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
NAPSA Certificate of Compliance
PACRA registration documentation
Valid National Council for Construction (NCC) certification
Bid Submission
Bidders are required to prepare and submit the following documents in hard copy:
One (1) Original and Two (2) Copies, each sealed in envelopes.
The outer envelope must be clearly marked with the Lot Number and Company Name.
All sealed envelopes must be physically delivered to the following address no later than the submission deadline:

Plot No. 6622 Mberere Road, Olympia, Lusaka, Zambia
The envelope must be clearly labeled as follows:
“BID SUBMISSION – GNZ/K/8/25 – [Lot Number] – [Company Name]”
Each submission must include the following:
Completed Form of Tender
Signed Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
Work Schedule
Any other required supporting documents

Bidders are strongly encouraged to review all documents thoroughly before preparing their submissions.
Submission Deadline: 26th August 2025 at 17:00 CAT (Central Africa Time).
Late submissions will not be considered.
The Tender Opening will be conducted on the date and venue communicated to the bidders who submitted their bids within the deadline. The session will be attended by the Tender Opening Committee (internal and external), and representatives of the bidding contractors. The Business/Project Team staff will preside over the session.
