Job description

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. Through its Mayi na Mwana II project, CRS is improving maternal and newborn health outcomes in Eastern Province by supporting community-based emergency transport systems.

To ensure continued functionality of distributed Modified Motor Tricycle Ambulances (MMTAs) and bicycles, CRS invites applications for beneficiary grants to establish and operate ten (10) MMTA/Bicycle Repair Shops across Lusangazi, Petauke, Sinda, Katete, and Chipangali districts.

Purpose of the Grant: The grants aim to increase local access to spare parts and repair services while fostering sustainability and community empowerment through locally led repair shops.

Eligibility – For Registered Businesses

1.      PACRA Certificate

2.      Valid Tax Clearance Certificate

3.      Company Profile with Repair experience

4.      Bank Account Confirmation Letter (in business name)

Eligibility – For Registered Cooperatives

1.      Certificate of Registration

2.      Valid Constitution / by Laws

3.      TPIN Certificate.

4.      List of Current Executive Committee Members

5.      Minutes of Recent AGM Meeting

6.      Business Profile

7.      Bank Account Confirmation Letter (in cooperative name)

Interested bidders are invited to request the full grant application package via email, which outlines the detailed scope of work (SOW) at procurement.zambia@crs.org

Submit complete proposals as a single PDF document to: procurement.zambia@crs.org (Subject: TENDER FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MMTA/BICYCLE REPAIR SHOPS in Eastern Province)
