1.0 INTERNAL AUDITOR
Reports:
The job reports to Senior Internal Auditor
Contract Type:
Fixed Term Contract
Age Limit:
Applicants must be between the age of 25–35 years old
A. OVERAL ROLE PROFILE
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes within our operations.
B. MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conduct risk-based audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
Assess internal controls across depots, service stations, and head office.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Identify risks and recommend practical improvements.
Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective actions.
C. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, ZICA, CIA) is required.
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant internal audit experience (oil marketing/energy sector preferred).
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
High ethical standards, integrity, and independence.
