JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an instructor for TEVETA accredited Level II course “TRADE CERTIFICATE IN NETWORK CABLING” at MEL Vocational Training Centre – Maamba, you will be responsible for imparting Theoretical and practical training to students so as to reach to their competency levels and resulting in to seek employment for their lively hood. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

A) Report for duty from 07:30 Hrs. to 17:30Hrs
B) Look after Discipline and punctuality of students
C) Teach starting from evolution of the computer, Elements and Generations of computers
D) Impart thorough knowledge on MS Office.
E) Teach main components of computer systems such as Software and Hard ware
F) Identify the types of input devices and explain them practically.
G) Taking active part in motivating the students in subject perspective
H) Describe type of soft wares such as system software and application soft ware
I) Interact with computer interfaces
J) Impart thorough knowledge on internet access and connecting internet
K) Identify uses of Information Technology in communication
L) Explaining ethical and legal issues related to Information Technology
M) Make students to use word processing package and Spread sheet package
N) Make students to use presentation software package and Data base management system
O) Make students to use Desktop publishing applications
P) Use structured query language (SQL)
Q) Discuss security and privacy on the internet
R) Create network and cabling accordingly
S) Take care of providing material for practical’s
T) Be answerable for the performance of students
U) Assessing performance of students by conducting monthly examinations

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Expertise: Strong proficiency in teaching methodology
Age Requirement: 30–45 years
