Job description
In line with our corporate priorities aimed at ensuring optimization of revenue collection and increased tax compliance on one hand and the need to effectively manage the numerous challenges and opportunities in the fast-changing business environment on the other, we are seeking highly motivated, result-oriented, well-qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacant positions under Human Resource Department:
4.0 ICT OFFICER – INTERFACES, SALARY GRADE ZRA05 (1 POSITION) INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY FUNCTION
A. PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the Senior ICT Officer, Interfaces, the job holder will manage and support where prescribed computer systems within the (ZRA), ensuring that all IT services and facilities effectively meet business needs through integration of various internal and external systems and seamless support for any outsourced or third-party solutions.
B. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade twelve (12) School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE) or Equivalent with five (5) Credits or better;
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
Not less than two years’ experience in the Information and Communication Technology profession;
Experience in designing and developing systems using technologies (e.g. ASP, VB, COM+, C#, SQL Server, etc.) and/or Java (Java/JSP/JSF/Spring programming, Java Servlets, Java Beans, JEE, Java Web Services) and Oracle in a distributed environment (e.g. IIS, COM+, COM/DCOM);
Knowledge of EDU, XML, and other common document formats; and
Must be a member of with a valid 2025 practicing license.
