The ICT Network & Infrastructure Administrator will be based in Solwezi and report directly to the ICT Manager. This full-time role involves comprehensive ICT administration and support to ensure seamless infrastructure operations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities for ICT Network Administrator Jobs in Solwezi

• Maintain, develop, and implement ICT infrastructure and systems to meet organisational needs.
• Manage ICT assets ensuring proper allocation, security, and protection of equipment.
• Oversee power protection and backup systems for servers and network infrastructure.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), VPNs, and user access controls.
• Monitor internet connectivity, bandwidth usage, and service provider service level agreements (SLAs).
• Configure and maintain security appliances and related ICT systems.
• Support ICT projects aligned with the organisation’s strategic plans.
• Supervise and assist the ICT Academic Specialist across multiple sites.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in ICT support, systems administration, or related roles.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of ICT security practices and backup procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Reliable, accurate, and professional in dealings with staff, students, parents, and service providers.
