Position Overview: Human Resources Manager Jobs in Lusaka

As a Human Resources Manager at Mega Premix Concrete Ltd, you will play a vital role in managing the full spectrum of HR functions. This full-time position requires a proactive individual capable of overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. You will also be responsible for payroll processing, invoice management, and liaising with regulatory authorities including the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment processes, employee onboarding, and foster positive employee relations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure adherence to HR compliance standards.
  • Process payroll and perform various HR administrative duties efficiently.
  • Prepare and manage invoices and related financial documentation.
  • Handle tax returns and ensure compliance with ZRA and other statutory bodies.
  • Act as a liaison with relevant regulatory authorities to maintain up-to-date compliance.
  • Support management in HR planning and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in human resources or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of tax returns, invoicing procedures, and ZRA compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR practices is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
