Human Resources Manager Jobs in Siavonga at Kamimbi Aqua Feed Limited Kamimbi Aqua Feed Limited is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Manager to join our team at the feed mill factory located in Siavonga, Southern Zambia. This full-time role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a pivotal role in driving human capital initiatives that support the company’s growth and operational excellence. About the Human Resources Manager Role The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions within the plant to attract, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing workforce. This role emphasizes maintaining strong employee relations, managing union engagements, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, and providing insightful human capital reports to management and investors. The successful candidate will contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture and support strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities for Human Resources Manager Jobs in Siavonga HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals; advise on workforce planning and succession; lead employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives. Union & Industrial Relations: Act as primary liaison with unions; lead collective bargaining; manage grievances and conflict resolution; ensure compliance with labour laws and agreements. Recruitment & Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning; manage performance appraisal systems and career development programs. Training & Development: Conduct training needs assessments; implement training plans; monitor and improve training effectiveness. Compensation & Benefits: Maintain competitive pay structures; oversee payroll, benefits, and incentive programs; conduct salary benchmarking. Employee Relations & Welfare: Promote fairness and respect; address employee concerns; coordinate welfare and wellness initiatives; support diversity and inclusion. Performance Management: Develop performance systems; guide managers on appraisals; recommend productivity improvements; support corrective actions. Compliance & Policy Administration: Ensure adherence to labour laws and safety regulations; update HR policies; maintain personnel records; coordinate audits. Investor & Management Reporting: Prepare detailed human capital reports for investors and senior management; support due diligence and ESG reporting. Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Collaborate to maintain a safe work environment; support accident investigations; promote mental health initiatives. Staff Canteen Management: Oversee canteen operations ensuring quality, hygiene, and cost-effectiveness; manage budgets and employee satisfaction. Expatriate & Immigration Administration: Manage work permits, visas, and compliance for expatriate staff; liaise with authorities; support onboarding and integration. Administration & Employee Services: Oversee accommodation, transport, welfare services; coordinate employee events and recognition programs. Qualifications and Experience Required Full Grade Twelve School Certificate (GCE) Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience, including 3 to 5 years in a managerial role Full Membership of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Managers (ZIHRM) Proven experience in union management and collective bargaining negotiations Background in manufacturing, feed production, agro-processing, FMCG, or industrial operations preferred Experience preparing management and investor reports Strong knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices Unquestionable integrity and adherence to company and professional ethical standards Analytical skills with ability to manage large volumes of data Results certified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) How to Apply for Human Resources Manager Jobs in Siavonga Interested candidates who meet the above criteria should submit their detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) in PDF format via email to careers@kamimbiaquafeed.com.
