Job description

Chreso Ministries is a well-established faith-based organization committed to holistic Christian service through the provision of quality healthcare, education, and community development programmes. The organization operates a hospital, multiple health facilities, community outreach initiatives, and schools across Zambia. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate professional competence, strong ethical values, and a commitment to advancing the organization’s Christian ethos and service mandate.

Human Resource Officer (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities

Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff deployment in line with MoH staffing norms and organizational policies
Coordinate performance management, staff appraisals, and capacity-building initiatives
Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and ethical standards
Maintain accurate staff records, contracts, and HR information systems
Support staff welfare, discipline processes, and employee relations
Advise management on HR planning, succession, and workforce development

Qualifications & Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience, preferably in healthcare or NGO settings
Knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices
Strong interpersonal, confidentiality, and organisational skills
Registration with ZIHRM is a requirement.
