About Mukonde General Hospital:

Mukonde General Hospital is a newly established, modern 120-bed healthcare facility based in Mulwaninyana, Southern Province. We are committed to delivering exceptional medical care with specializations in cardiology, surgery, radiology, oncology, orthopedics, maternity, and neonatology. As we prepare to launch our services, we are seeking a visionary and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead the recruitment and HR systems development for our hospital.

Position Summary:

We are hiring a dynamic Human Resources Manager who will play a central role in building our hospital team from the ground up. The successful candidate will design and implement HR strategies, lead mass recruitment efforts, and ensure our staff is aligned with the hospital’s mission of excellence, compassion, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute end-to-end recruitment plans for all hospital departments.
Establish HR policies, procedures, and compliance systems in line with Zambian labor laws and health sector standards.
Lead onboarding, orientation, and staff welfare programs.
Oversee payroll, benefits, leave management, and employee records.
Provide leadership and guidance to management on HR best practices and staff development.
Foster a positive, productive, and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR management, preferably in a healthcare or large institutional setting.
Proven experience in recruitment and organizational development.
Strong knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
