Human Resource Manager

Reports To : General Manager

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with company goals.
Oversee recruitment processes, including advertising, interviewing, and on-boarding new employees.
Support performance management by coordinating appraisals and developing employee growth plans.
Maintain accurate employee records and manage payroll, leave, and benefits administration.
Handle employee relations by resolving workplace issues and fostering a positive work environment and industrial harmony.
Organize training and development programs to build employee skills and promote career growth.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Actively contribute to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR role, preferably in the Hospitality sector.
Strong knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
