EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

An opportunity has arisen in the Pensions Department, and ZSIC Life Plc invites applications from suitably qualified, highly motivated, and self-driven Zambian nationals for the position below:

PURPOSE OF ROLE

To lead the Multi- employer Pensions business portfolio by providing strategic oversight to ensure effective Fund Administration, acquisition of new business to ensure portfolio growth, Board minute taking, servicing of clients and compliance to the Insurance Act. 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) 

KPI 1. Strategic Leadership

Leads the development and execution of strategies to grow the Group Pensions business portfolio.

KPI 2. Portfolio Performance

Leads in the achievement of targeted growth in pensions business revenue and client acquisition.

KPI 3. Client Relationship Management

Ensures high client retention and satisfaction levels through regular engagement and service delivery. :0 KPI 4. Regulatory Compliance

Maintains 100% compliance with pensions-related laws, regulations, and regulatory submissions.

 KPI 5. Risk Management

Implements risk mitigation measures and maintains zero tolerance for regulatory breaches or financial mismanagement.

 KPI 6. Operational Efficiency

Optimizes internal pension processes to ensure timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and minimal errors.

 KPI 7. Product Innovation

Introduces or enhances pension products aligned with market demand and strategic goals.

KPI 8. Financial Performance

Delivers profit margins and cost control within approved budgets for the pension’s portfolio.

 KPI 9. Team Leadership

Builds and maintains a high-performing pensions team through training, coaching, and performance management.

 KPI 10. Board Minute taking and storage

Ensures that minutes of Trustee meetings are accurately recorded and stored safely for future retrieval and reference.

 KPI 11. Stakeholder Engagement

Strengthens relationships with trustees, regulators, and institutional clients to enhance business influence

KPI 12. Anti-Money Laundering Monitoring

Ensures Anti-Money Laundering controls are effectively embedded in pensions operations with minimal findings in audits or PIA inspections.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • BA in Business Administration, Insurance & Pension Management, or Equivalent.
  • Master’s Degree in any relevant field is an added advantage
  • Membership of appropriate professional body.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience, with 4 years being in a senior leadership role.
